It’s no secret that the life of a full-time employee and startup business owner is a difficult one. The hard work and long hours can be grueling. I’m in the early stages of my business adventure, and I’ve already learned how easy it is to neglect the other aspects of my life. The importance of finding what works for my routine has become just as important as sticking to it.
I naturally gravitated to Derma Chiara as it is also a startup. They had just launched a skincare line with acne healing patches called Derma Patch. I had never used acne patches or heard of them before. I was excited to be trying out a new skincare product while supporting another female owned business.
The Derma Patches have been nothing short of amazing. They’re carefully packaged with two sets of patches - day and night time. Both sets are made with natural ingredients that really pull the impurities out and heal the blemish. Whenever I feel or see a blemish forming, I simply clean my face and put one on. They’re extremely light weight, so I forget that I even have them on. Also, they help blur the blemish making them almost unnoticeable. Derma Chiara claims they are waterproof. I can attest to that! I’ve worn them in the shower and during my intense workouts - they don’t come off! They’re perfect for my busy on-the-go lifestyle.
I also love the EMS Silicone Facial Massage Cleansing Brush. It pairs perfectly with my La Roche Posay Effaclar Cleanser. The vibrations really help remove the make-up and dirt from my face. When I’m done washing my face, I use the La Roche Posay Effaclar Toner and then use the base of the brush to massage my moisturizer (one of my favorite steps). The brush helps promote collagen and has other amazing benefits. I have yet to find a moisturizer I love, so I don’t have one to recommend at the moment. But all of the products I’ve mentioned so far have helped my skin clear up tremendously. I’ve also been using the Indian Clay Mask once a week, which has contributed to my healthy skin. This routine that I currently have is simple yet affordable.
Whenever I’m not working, I’m out riding my motorcycle. It’s summer here in California, so I ride every chance I get. But, do you know what that means? MESSY make-up. Unfortunately, I would remove part of my eyebrow each time I removed my helmet. I always ended up with smeared brows. So, I had been on the hunt for something that would help them stay put. I tried everything from high to low-end products with no luck. Anastasia Beverly Hills, Benefit, Nyx, and Elf to name a few brands. But, of course, Derma Chiara came out with a long lasting brow pen. I was expecting smudged brows the first time I used it as I had almost given up on my search. My brows stayed on to my surprise. One of my girlfriends was stunned herself as she had rode with me many times before and witnessed my struggle firsthand. I do want to mention that another reason why I love this product is because the tip applicator makes application so easy. It now takes me about 5 minutes to draw them in when it used to take me closer to 15 minutes, so it has helped me save time with my make-up routine.
Derma Chiara has surprised me with all of their products. They’re affordable, but most importantly they WORK. They’ve contributed to the improvement of my skin and daily routines. This is valuable to me now more than ever as I don’t have as much time to spend with the upkeep. I’m truly excited to see what else they come out with. I definitely recommend that you give their products a try along with everything else I’ve mentioned. If so, I’ve listed out the products below along with their prices in the order mentioned:
